We had also some snow not too long ago, but it's less than 5 cm. It stays though on the roads and that makes it slightly icy with the current temperatures. If the sun comes up (around 9 or 10 usually) you see a very funny thing that shows you how explosive the nature is in Norway. The cold trees and frozen wooden electrician poles start to steam. Steam of the melting ice on the poles by the very hot sun. Not for nothing that they warn in Norway for the sun. It's unbelievable strong. Not many plants survive the sun or the ice. When it rains a lot, like a week ago, than the rivers get out of bounds and you see waterfals everywhere.

It's really a nice country with a very explosive nature, as I call it. The changes are fast, and with a lot of well..theater you could call it. If it has been -5 in a night, than lakes are frozen, even Fjords have ice and forests and grass look icy. When it snows, roads are white, houses, forests and lakes have a layer.

Also your car has a layer of ice on the front and rear window. Very nice.. ahem. So it's in the mornings putting your car on, putting the airco on 32 degrees and full power on mirrors, front and rear window. In the meanwhile do something else and wait. About 15 minutes later the windows are nearly unfrozen. If you don't have that much time you simply have to rub it off. Cold!
And if you think that is easy, well the problem in Norway is, is that it is so cold on daytime that you can restart the job when you are done working and want to go home.

Last week I was mostly working till a 3 or 4 in the afternoon from 8.30 in the morning, so I hope to make some money there, which I can use very well at the moment. Christmas is always expensive, having a move to Norway and a flat to decorate makes that worse ofcourse. And you can say, then you keep it cheap.. yes we did. But for so many people in Christmas time, so that doesn't really help that much either. 

Theresa and I went for a fantastic nice dinner for my birthday last Tuesday in Flekkefjord at Anna's Kjøkken. We ate there a year ago as well with our engagement organised by AESTON. It's a very special, themed restaurant where in every season you can eat something different. It often includes (what do you think else hey! it's Norway!) fish, blueshells or wild meat.

This time we had the season or event Julemat, which means basicly Christmas food. The choices were pretty shelly, white fishy or some deer meat. We went for the deer meat this time (at engagement we went for cowmeat and deermeat).

Tonight I will go out for dinner with AESTON in a restaurant for spare ribs in Farsund.

Tomorrow (monday) I will work again in another project with AESTON and in the meanwhile Laura and friend will come home via Kristiansand from their two weeks stay in Germany. We will postpone our third Advents (and second Advent we forgot actually last week) to monday night I think so we can celebrate it with the whole family again.

- you can resend a mailing to your emailaddress, if you would like to have a copy of it yourself and you are no member yet or you became a member after that mailing was sent.
- All forms have code protection. You have to type in a code into the form displayed in an image before sending it, to authorize and prevent bulk postings from spambots.
- Added the Intro option to the weblog system, so I can add an intro in the top of the blog. Not so important for you to know, although if you would like to have your own blog in the near future, than we can set that up (in the near future) for you and you will have to work with it as well. For the public it shows as following: an intro text is added to every article and is bold formatted. The intro is also used in the weblog listing where you can click on read more.
- Added a link to the title of a weblog article, so you can open the weblog article on multiple ways and not only via the read more link.
- Will add another more safe function to the resender and mail it functionality later, as it is still sensitive for spamming at the moment.
