Last saturday (4-6-11) started with a very grey sky. It even rained a little I think. I wondered if I was going to work on my websites all day or not, but we would have plans later that day aswell. We would pick up a friend of us that wanted to visit us at our home for once. In the afternoon, circa 2pm suddenly the clouds broke away making place for a warm summer sun, a blue sky and unfortunately also a rather cold breeze. At 4.30pm we picked up our friend from Sandnes and then went shopping in ICA Maxi. This is a bit bigger type of supermarket with a lot of extra things (you don't need?) for sale. They also sell the bit more expensive but interesting delicatesses, such as import cheese, fresh salates, fish, meat and premade complete meals. Our friend wanted to buy different types of cheese (cherry cheese, nut cheese and brie) and some crackers to have for our pre-dinner. At home we sat on the blanket in the garden, this time with a jumper or jacket on, since the wind was blowing from time to time quite heavily and cold. We ate different types of cheese on crackers and had a drink under some conversations. When it started to get colder we went inside and watched a documentary on youtube about a boy whose skin fell off (it came from a British TV documentary on Channel4). Very sad, but I am amazed about the strength of a person when they know that the inevitable is going to happen to them (yes it will happen to all of us, but to those a little faster for sure). At 8.30pm I made pancakes for us all with our well known recipe. 4 normal pancakes and 3 cheese filled pancakes. In the evening Theresa worked on her/our story and I worked on some websites. |
