Today it was nice weather though. Icy outside, but very sunny. Made ofcourse some very nice pictures. There was snow and rain and sleet the last two days, so the streets are covered in ice. The higher mountains are covered in snow. The sky was blue or partly cloudy and the lake has a layer of ice which is moving like a glacier (so never go on the ice on that lake, dangerous!), which makes a funny noise. Made a video of that, don't know if you can hear it but will try to edit it. Will upload that the coming days to youtube, so that you can listen and see it yourself.

You can easily figure what time it is. If you see sun shining through your window than you know it is past 10am, the time that the sun rises in the south of Norway in winter. The sun goes down at about 3pm and 4pm it's definitely dark. In summer it doesn't really get that dark. Only between 11pm and 2am. We do have more luck though than in the North of Norway. There it is dark in the winter all the time and light all the time in the summer.

But where is the winter? Where is the 1-2 meters of snow? It seems that we can only ski in the higher mountains (Knaben). Is it this bad in Switserland too? Or France? Or Germany? Austria? Perhaps it's just one of the many winters that are a bit soft because of Tropical storms elsewhere. Last years winter was much worse, 1 meter snow I remember, even in April. But on the other hand, we have had 1 meter snow just in the beginning of the new year and the winter isn't over yet! end of January, Februari, March and beginning of April to go.
