A day long travel

A Blizzard caused us to travel a little longer than just a couple of hours over a distance. Blizzard, not to confuse with that company with that great online game, but a true storm of snow and cold wind.

I had to go with Theresa to the hospital in Arendal for some check. This kind of trip actually does usually already take a day of traveling as it takes 3 hours down and 3 hours back + the time you spend there in Arendal. Well this time it took even more time. It started to snow the 4th of december at night and this continued through the day, causing us to have to drive slower already towards Kristiansand. As soon as we came past Kristiansand it suddenly started to snow heavily upto the point of a real Blizzard. When a truck came to clean the road, the moment after the road was full snow again. It took us 4 hours to get to the hospital. We spend about 30 minutes at the hospital and then we could go back again.. for another 4 hours traveling.

So about 9-10 hours later I could finally go to work and stopped after 5 hours of work with a rest of 2,5 hours which I have already covered again over the days after.

You know i dont think everyone in the world think if you say blizzard that your talking about wow.. some people do have a life :P Report as spam!

I can't say that I don't have a life knowing that blizzard is a game producer. Scanning the internet at 00:37 but not knowing the English language very well is a lesser life than I know of. Hey, Steve, I wish we had an occasional blizzard here too. I just love snow! Athough I wouldn't like to travel for a day to get a doctors opinion of 30 minutes. Report as spam!

hahahahhahaha.. just saw your Lapland pictures on your site and see that you have a brilliant picture of a Blizzard from a snowscooter? or was it those huskies. Anyway..funny photo. Lol I wonder who was that person who had no life at 00:37, because he/she doesn't even want to show his/her identity Blizzards in Holland? Hahaha.. don't think so. But funny in Norway: we haven't got much snow anymore in Kvinesdal. A very little bit around our garden. It's like 7 degrees today. But they expect colder air near the weekend, so let's see what happens. My parents come 27th so would be nice to see some snow, but then again they like to drive without snow and snow can be found if you just go a 100-200 meters higher up in the mountains. Theresa's mom lives in Brokke, Valle (see the new weather page) they have a lot of snow. But to Arendal traveling takes anyway 3 hours there 3 hours back. The nearest Hospital is in Flekkefjord, 20 minutes away. Report as spam!
