We had several dentist appointments in Norway, for Theresa mainly her bracers, for me a stupid rootfilling what is still not done after three months and which I will need to finish off when I am back in Norway (he had first to rebuild my tooth as it was completely crumbled down, than fill it, than open it for rootfilling 1 and 2, than temporary fill it again and after my short time in Holland he will fill chanel 3 or 4 or whatever).

 

It was a nice (NOT) summer in Norway. In three months time we had a total of 3 nice days with sun and a temperature of about 25 degrees. The rest of the ‘holiday’ we had rain and storm and let’s say very bad weather.

We have BBQ’ed only once, but were invited to a special dinner at a friend of Theresa with a salmon (about 30cm in size) caught by a family member and grilled outside. Fantastic to eat a salmon so pure and fresh and much better than whatever salmon you can buy in the shops in Europe.

 

We also did swim only once in the nearby lake. But we enjoyed our time there, have also used the time to look for work, to orientate on the market, to see how I should start up my business there and in what markets, products etc.

 

As I am writing this article nearly to the end of the time in Holland it is hard to remember what we did more in Norway. Don’t they say, most accidents happen at home? Well, I had for example also a small car accident with our beautiful Mitsubishi Galance Elegance. I wanted to drive past the other Galant of Laura and didn’t calculate it quite okay so I scratched the right backdoor along the bumper of the other car. The other car had a slight scratch on the bumper (plastic) and I had a big dent in the side. Great. That stupid small accident, that made more damage to my car than the old Galant there, did cost me 5000 nok (631euro) for a repair of the door. It was simply too big to leave it (rust danger), but not the best way to spend the money.
