The truck will arrive in Amsterdam at Friday the 23^rd of November. They will load up and pack some extra stuff. Than the movers will take that to their storage centre.

 

We will after cleaning the flat go to Delden for some last goodbyes to friends and family (see your invitation in the email) over the weekend (Saturday for friends, Sunday for family).

 

At Monday the 26^th of November we will start our journey to Norway. Probably we arrive about nine in the evening at Hirtshals, but perhaps later because of a dinner etc.

 

We got our tickets for the Colorline boat and will have the boat at Tuesday 27^th 1.00 am, so we will drive into the boat before that time and then we will start our slow boat journey to Norway (normally the big boat takes 4,5 hours, now it will take 6 hours).

We have booked a sleepinghut, so we will probably sleep softly and hopefully without stomach problems.

 

We will arrive in Kristiansand at the same Tuesday early morning at about 7am and than drive (hopefully no snow) carefully to Kvinesdal (still have to translate that website to Dutch).

Time arrival should be about 9 or 10 am. The movers said that they might be arriving at the same time and day and take the same boat, so perhaps we will make nice pictures of a truck full of stuff of us and another family (they move two families at once to save money and make it cheaper for a customer).

 

We make sure that family in Norway will have the keys before we arrive, in case we get a delay and because it’s just better when there is already a key when the movers arrive.

 

Currently I am still working hard on getting stuff done. Such as packing boxes full of my documents, books, papers and other goods. Also writing this blog and blog website in between and meeting many friends in a very short time. Company meetings are also planned between them and I am also selling a few things via marktplaats (similar to Finn.no)which takes time to put up, keep contact, make prices, receive people at the address who pick them up etc.
