| 750ml single cream (we used actually whipping cream)
150g caster sugar (NL: bastard sugar)
5 egg yolk (used 6 because the eggs were too small)
4 tbsp cocoa powder
a pan, two mixing bowls and a freezing container (oh and a equipment to whip/measure etc.) |

| It's always good to have more than exactly 5 eggs. (had 30 on stock so I was lucky) as it might go wrong with one or two (or 3!) eggs to seperate the egg from the yolk or the yolk from the egg. Whip the egg yolk. Add it to the 750 ml single cream in the other bowl. |

| Have the 150g of sugar already measured. First mix the egg yolk with the single cream. Then add the caster sugar and mix the mixture.
Then you have to heat it on a fire in a pan to let all the sugar dissolve. Next you have to add the 4 tbsp cocoa powder and mix that in.
Then put the mixture in a bowl or glass container to let it chill completely down. |

| Next: put it either in an ice cream machine, or in a freezing container in your freezer. Since I don't have the ice cream machine, I have put the cooled down mixture in a freezing container and let it freeze for 5 hours in the freezer with a frequent stir. |

| Ice cream machines...stir automatically and freeze in the same time, making it a task of only 1 hour!!! I had to stir it frequently about every 30-50 minutes during a time frame of 5 hours! |
